Holiday’s here and that means hunting season is closing in.

Well it’s almost time for a nice 3 day weekend that might go to 4 days. My plans for the weekend is spending it camping and golfing all weekend. I’m leaving early today, swinging back home between fighting all the people heading North, picking up the family and heading West to the campgrounds. I’m still debating on bringing my laptop with me in case it rains, (it ALWAYS does when we go camping) so I can check out some forums, watch a movie, etc. Notice I didn’t say a damn thing about e-mail? That’s because my e-mail is pushed to my Treo as soon as it hits my server but then I might even shut that off on my treo so I don’t start thinking about work or anything else.It’s been getting in the mid to low 50’s at night lately and that’s making me VERY happy as that means that hunting season is right around the corner. I hope it continues to drop at night since I don’t feel like spending another opening day in camo boxers and t-shirt due to the heat. I swear that for the last 5 years, it’s been in the 80’s opening week and I sweat my ass off all day in the treestand.

I’ll post pictures of my hunting area this year and maybe a few of the deer that I shoot if I can remember, the last couple years I’ve forgotten to take pictures or just didn’t have anyone there with me to take a picture or 2. My thoughts are, why take a picture of a deer you just shot if your not in the picture.
