Tivo and Hunting Season

October 8th, 2006 | by audit |

Well it’s 8 days into hunting season and I’ve only been out 2 times. I finally broke down and bought a Tivo this weekend so I could record the football games and everything else that I miss when hunting. Now the kick in the balls was, due to the surround sound system we have and the TV, I couldn’t get the damn thing to work AT ALL!! Thanks to my Treo and Verichat, I was able to talk to a buddy of mine while I was in my blind yesterday afternoon and he explained what I was missing since he set the same setup at his folks house.

Now I’m off to Tivo Hacking land to try to figure out what I can do with this thing to get more out of it. It’s setup on my home LAN over wireless but I can’t access it using the Tivo Desktop software to download the baseball game that I recorded last night.
