Well today it’s been 1 year at my new company. It hasn’t been bad at all, sure it’s had it’s bad times but the good times have outweighed the bad considering 90% of the bad was just personal stuff that I didn’t leave outside the door when I walked into the office everyday.

For the most part, I’ve accomplished everything that I set out to do when I interviewed here and that was to increase productivity for the entire company and I’ve done that. I don’t know what the downtime was like before I arrived but I do know that I’ve had a lot of positive feedback from people that have worked here for years about my work ethic. I guess when someone shows up to work after spending the night in the hospital from a mini-stroke, brings his wife and kids in on thanksgiving for 14hr’s so he can reload the mail server that just crashed hard so it’s up the next day, worked a few 36+hr shifts, it shows dedication.

Now I’m waiting for my year review and hopefully a nice raise. God only knows I need it to help pay for all the medical bills that’s piled up with all the ambulance rides to the hospital and meds that I was taking to keep these attacks far and few between. I’d like to get back on them again since these damn attacks are coming more often now but my wife’s med’s come before mine do as well as trying to keep our utilities on, roof over our head, car to get to work, etc.
