I’ve been working in IT for the last 20+ years. Doing everything from full blown penetration tests on the wireless and wired side to basic network administration. I’ve worked in the manufacturing, ISP+web hosting, .gov, and the pr0n (adult) industries. I have a full time IT job as a Systems Administrator at a large consulting/software development company, thankfully I’m the in house Sys Admin since client consulting got old with all the traveling and being away from my family. I have 2 wonderful kids, boy and a girl, my wife who was a nurse until she got sick and I have been married to her since 1996.
I started this blog to share my views about technology and my life in general, and to reflect upon issues and devices from a different focal point - that of what is behind the things we use and play with. And more or less give me someplace to vent since it’s not fair to my wife and kids to hear it after their days.
I’m also a self proclaimed redneck, I say self proclaimed because I wasn’t raised in the south and was born and raised in Michigan. But from an early age, I’ve always had a southern accent when I speak. But most everyone that meets me for the first time and all my friends believe that in a previous life, I was raising all kinds of hell in the south somewhere and having a ball.
I only listen to country music and my favorite all time country artist is Hank Williams Jr. Very few in country has ever obtained everything he has in his career.
